Please tell me you will at least change the continuity errors from gg to pem. For example meddlecat was referred to in the pem episodes as 'blocat' (yeah i didnt get it either) and theres a few more cases, honestly if you put the effort to do that, id 100% percent swap my TenB release for yours. (btw major monogatari fan so it would mean a lot, i mean ive re watched bakemonogatari more times then i could count, also competition wise you automatically beat coalgirls for using the gg/pem script)

Please tell me there is going to be episode 13-15 because I cant find that shit anywhere

# bake | 2013-04-18 13:12
If you are in desperate need to watch this you can watch coalgirls here coalgirls.wakku.to/55/bakemonogatari or if you prefer someone else there are a couple more groups that are that have 13-15 here www.nyaa.eu/?page=search&term=Bakemonogatari&sort=2 . Otherwise just wait it out, i feel your pain though I am waiting for elysium's release of Baka to Test myself. It would be nice if they gave us another update since the DDL has been down for almost 3 months.

Will you guys be using the qIIq typesetting, because the typesetting they made up was really amazing, I recommend it?!

I have the TV version but I haven't watched it yet (Shaft anime). I hope this is the next one you guys release. Can't wait! \o/

Are these blu-ray?

# Yan | 2012-03-01 20:22
Why don't you guys use OGG?

Far I know, OGG is way bettar than AAC, and can achieve transparency at 160 Kbps.
+1
# Ametatsu | 2012-03-02 01:19
Because OGG is not nearly as supported as AAC.

# Yan | 2012-03-03 14:56
I see, sorry for the typo (better*).

Then this could be considered the same issue with ordered chapters, they're pretty much useful too. Well, it's not like AAC can't handle it anyway, but it's always good to have the best onyour encodes. Thanks for the reply though.

# spaark | 2012-04-01 04:57
OGG is just a container format. Are you talking about Vorbis, or maybe Opus? There's probably no point comparing the technologies, so as far as implementations go, Vorbis isn't "way better than AAC", even at low bitrates (which is supposed to be Vorbis's strength). See listening-tests.hydrogenaudio.org/igorc/results.html. Vorbis is behind Apple_HE-AAC in that test. Opus takes the lead, but I'd bet that the quality gain decreases the higher the bitrate, so really there's no winner if you're aiming for "audiophile quality".

I'd say FLAC, but I'm pretty sure it's not nearly as supported as AAC either... and file sizes become a pain.

Finally!! I still have gg's tv version since nobody's doing a bd version with their subs and especially their typesetting.

What do you mean with heavily edited? Are you going to change lines such as this one to make it more literal? Or are you editing to make it more liberal?

Thanks for taking on this show. I look forward to enjoying your work.

Question: has any fansub group ever translated the seiyu commentary track into English?

anybody who got anything please respond

I would just like to say a huge thank you for giving this awesome show a proper release, I hope you finish it swiftly with few "v2"'s.

Is it to much to ask for an ETA of release? MY assumption would be past April sometime, but it's only a guess. This was not meant in a derogatory fashion either just a simple question.

# killazys | 2012-01-18 20:19
Your guess is probably right.

# Alteration | 2012-01-16 03:26
Sorry about recommending such a difficult one, there is usually a lot of japanese in the background (at least there is in Nisemonogatari).

I can't wait for your release, you always do an amazing job with the releases.

I was a little worried that there wasn't going to be a 720p release. I shall wait patiently as well ^^

Just how heavily are you modifying gg's subs? As I recall, gg was the only group that TL'd this show competently.
+1
# Ametatsu | 2012-01-13 17:06
Probably not as much as you're thinking. Don't worry, there will be no TL meanings being changed. Only smaller grammar issues and possibly word changes to make things flow better. Unless, of course, there's a known TL fail somewhere. Most of the changes will be from the typesetting.

# Logeres | 2012-02-23 11:29
I'm no expert, but I recall that gg's subs practically consisted of TL fails, though I'd have to watch a few episodes to recall what exactly was wrong with it.

On the subject, I have two questions, or rather requests: Will you use baka-tsuki's translation of the novel for the snippets that show up so frequently in the background? And will you translate the audio commentary (well worth the effort, as it is extremely well written and basically consists of the characters poking fun at the show and pointing out plot holes)?

# Logeres | 2012-02-23 12:04
Nevermind gg's subs. Turns out I was watching the subs of another group.

# Watari | 2012-01-13 13:15
